Welcome to Bridgend County A.S.C. We are a competitive club of some 300 members, catering for all ages and levels of swimmer once they have learned to swim
Some years ago we formed from the merger of four local clubs (Bridgend, Cynffig, Maesteg and Pencoed) and the Bridgend County Performance Centre. The Club has its own swimming pool at Llangeinor and a Head Coach, Phil Melhuish. Our squads train at Llangeinor and the other four local pools (Bridgend, Maesteg, Pencoed and Pyle).
The Club has already produced swimmers who compete at both national and international levels
This year we compete in the Speedo Western League Premier Division. This means competing against clubs like Cardiff,Millfield,Plymouth and Torfaen, which is no mean feat.
Good luck to our swimmers who will represent Wales at the UK school Games. Sara Lougher, Josh Thomas and Mark Ennis.
Also, Zoe Thomas will represent Welsh athletics.
Good luck to all.
